Storm Down Proofer is a premium waterproofing solution designed for down-filled apparel and equipment such as jackets, sleeping bags, gloves and more. Over time and with repeated washing, the durable water-repellent finish on down items can wear off. Down Proofer restores this protective layer, keeping moisture out and helping the insulation retain its effectiveness.
This treatment forms a thin but robust water-repellent film on the fabric surface without clogging membranes or interfering with breathability. The formula is crafted to preserve the softness and feel of the materials while enhancing moisture resistance and extending the life of down products.
Storm Down Proofer is ideal for use after cleaning, helping to minimize moisture uptake — a critical factor for thermal performance in cold and wet conditions.
