The Fitz Roy Down Hoody is a midweight insulated layer designed for cold conditions and alpine activities. Its combination of high-loft down insulation and ultralight Pertex® Quantum fabric provides dependable warmth while keeping overall weight low.

The shell is made from 100% recycled nylon ripstop and features a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS. The fabric is soft to the touch while providing the durability needed for demanding mountain use.

The 800-fill-power down insulation is certified to the Responsible Down Standard by Control Union (CU 880272). Its high loft provides efficient warmth while allowing the jacket to compress into a compact package for easy storage and transport.

The alpine helmet-compatible hood features a single-pull adjustment and a high-loft draft collar for additional warmth. A two-way center-front Vislon® zipper with an internal storm flap provides weather protection and allows access to the belay loop.

Two handwarmer pockets and two external zippered chest pockets remain easily accessible while belaying. The hoody self-stuffs into the front-left pocket for compact storage, while a large internal catch-all pocket with an elasticized opening provides additional storage space.

Soft elasticized stitching at the cuffs and a dual-adjust cord-lock system at the hem help retain warmth and keep cold air and the elements out.

The Regular fit provides room for layering over a base layer or lightweight insulating layer.
