The Faction crew set out on an expedition to some of Central Asia’s most isolated 4,000-meter peaks — reached by air, road, and even camel. Deep in Mongolia’s Altai Mountains, where nomadic herders have crossed mountains and plains on wooden skis for thousands of years, long before skiing became the sport we know today.

The film follows that thread back to its very beginning — 150 hours from home, to the place where it all started.
