Cookie Policy

Welcome to https://basecamp-shop.com (the "Site"), which is operated by „ЕксКоСпортс България“ ООД (XCoSports Bulgaria OOD), UIC (ЕИК) 201059861, with its seat and registered address at: 11 Orel Str., floor 3, Lozenets district, Sofia, Bulgaria ("we").

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a site stores in the browser of your device. They allow the site to remember, for example, the contents of the cart or the selected language. A similar technology is the browser's local storage, in which the site can also store information on your device. In this policy we call both "cookies".

Cookies can be session cookies – deleted when the browser is closed – or persistent cookies – they remain for a set period or until you delete them. They can be our own (stored by the Site) or third-party cookies (stored by an external service, for example Google, Meta or OpenAI).

2. How we use cookies

The cookies on the Site fall into three categories:

Measuring visits Google Analytics shows us which pages are visited and how the Site is used, so that we can improve it. Only with your consent.
Advertising Meta Pixel and OpenAI Pixel allow us to show relevant advertisements on Facebook, Instagram and ChatGPT and to measure their results. Only with your consent.
  1. On your first visit, the Site asks you what you allow. You can choose "Accept all", "Reject" or "Settings", where you allow "Measuring visits" and "Advertising" separately. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
  2. Until you respond, the Site stores only the necessary cookies and does not load any third-party service.
  3. If you reject a category, the corresponding cookies are not stored and the corresponding service does not receive information about your visit.
  4. We record your response so that we can prove what you chose: your choice, the date and time of the response and technical data about the device needed to prove the choice. We do not record a name or e-mail address. The record is kept for 5 years.
  5. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If we change the text of the banner, we will ask you again.

5. Information sent by our server

For certain actions on the Site, for example an order or registration, our server also sends information about the action to Meta and Google Analytics – only for the categories you have allowed. Details are in item V.11 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Third parties

Google, Meta and OpenAI also process the information received in accordance with their own policies:

These providers may transfer data to the United States of America. The transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which they participate, or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

The Site also contains ordinary links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X (Twitter). These links do not store cookies on the Site; when you open them, the rules of the relevant platform apply.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the cart and the order will not work. Instructions for the most widely used browsers:

When we add or remove a cookie or service, we will update this policy and the date at the top. When the change affects your choice, the banner will ask you again.
