The Gregory Targhee 45 is a technical backpack designed for extended winter adventures and backcountry routes. With a 45-liter capacity, it provides ample space for extra clothing, food, avalanche safety equipment and essential gear for multi-day mountain trips.

The suspension system combines a perimeter alloy frame with an anti-barreling cross-stay to provide stability under heavy loads while maintaining torsional flexibility. Padded shoulder straps, a supportive hipbelt and an adjustable sternum strap help distribute weight comfortably. The sternum strap includes an integrated safety whistle for emergency situations.

The main compartment can be accessed from the top or through a U-shaped zipper in the backpanel. The compression-molded backpanel is designed to shed snow and allows convenient access to equipment without unloading the entire pack.

The front avalanche safety pocket features dedicated sleeves for a probe and shovel components, with additional room for essential accessories. A deployable helmet-carry system stows away in a separate compartment when not in use.

Multiple carrying configurations accommodate skis and splitboards, including diagonal and A-frame carry options. The reinforced front panel protects the fabric from sharp metal ski edges and other equipment. Ice tool attachments, side compression straps and glove-friendly hardware provide additional functionality in demanding winter conditions.
