Its 26-liter capacity provides room for essential clothing, food, avalanche safety equipment and other necessities for day trips in the mountains.

The VertFlex suspension system combines a metal frame and anti-barreling cross-stay to provide load support while allowing freedom of movement. Padded shoulder straps, a supportive hipbelt and an adjustable sternum strap help ensure a comfortable fit. The sternum strap features an integrated safety whistle, while the insulated hydration hose sleeve helps prevent the hose from freezing in cold conditions.

The main compartment can be accessed from the top or through a U-shaped zipper in the backpanel. The molded backpanel is designed to shed snow, making it easier to access equipment in winter conditions.

The dedicated front avalanche safety pocket features sleeves for a probe, shovel handle and shovel blade, with additional room for essential accessories. A deployable helmet-carry system allows convenient transport when the helmet is not in use.

The backpack offers multiple ski-carry configurations, including diagonal and A-frame carry, as well as vertical snowboard or snowshoe attachment.
