The Montbell Seamless Alpine Burrow Bag #0 is the warmest model in the Seamless Alpine Burrow Bag series. It is designed for demanding winter conditions, including high-altitude trekking and winter expeditions. Its insulation is suitable for winter mountaineering at elevations of around 3,000 metres, as well as camping in very cold temperatures.

The sleeping bag features Montbell's proprietary Exceloft® synthetic insulation. It consists of three different fiber types with varying thicknesses that trap air and create an effective layer of warmth. The polyester fibers are treated with a silicone coating to improve water repellency. The insulation retains its performance when damp, dries quickly and recovers its loft after repeated compression and washing.

The seamless construction minimizes stitching on the outer fabric. This allows the insulation to maintain its natural loft while reducing heat loss through seams and minimizing cold spots.

The Spiral Stretch System uses diagonally oriented fabric and stitching to maximize the material's natural elasticity. It provides gentle stretch that follows your body's movements without adding unnecessary weight through elastic inserts. The internal construction allows up to 114% stretch.

The sleeping bag features a tunnel hood and an adjustable hood for a closer fit around the head. An insulated draft tube along the zipper helps keep cold air out, while the automatic locking zipper helps prevent unwanted opening during the night. A protective slider component reduces fabric snagging, and a triangular gusset reinforces the zipper's lower end.
