The stretchy R2® TechFace fabric allows comfortable movement during active pursuits. Its interior is soft and warm against the skin while being designed to avoid trapping excess heat. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish, made without intentionally added PFAS, helps water bead off the outer surface during light precipitation. The under-helmet hood features partial elastic binding for a comfortable, secure fit and added warmth. Two zippered chest pockets and two high handwarmer pockets are designed to remain accessible while wearing a climbing harness or backpack. Two additional interior drop-in pockets provide convenient storage for smaller essentials. The hoody has a slim fit, sleek low-bulk snag-resistant cuffs and partial hem binding to help retain warmth.
