The Montbell US Alpine Down Parka Men's is an insulated jacket built for harsh winter conditions and technical alpine use. At its core is premium 800-fill-power EX Down, which traps a large volume of air to provide excellent thermal efficiency while keeping weight to a minimum.

The down is distributed in individual compartments using a box construction, with internal walls separating the outer shell from the lining. This design allows the insulation to maintain its loft, prevents down from shifting and helps minimize cold spots.

The outer fabric is made from 20-denier nylon ripstop with a water-repellent finish. It offers a smooth surface and good abrasion resistance, while the 20-denier Ballistic® Nylon Taffeta lining features an anti-static treatment to help reduce static buildup.

The Dual Axial Hood is designed to fit over a climbing helmet and provide generous coverage. A two-way front zipper allows easier adjustment when wearing a climbing harness or handling equipment. The chin guard improves comfort around the zipper, while articulated elbows and Alpine Cuff construction support mobility and a comfortable fit.

An internal drawcord adjustment at the hem helps seal out cold air. The parka comes with a stuff sack for compact storage and transport.
