The Black Diamond Deploy Down 1.0 Hoody is an ultralight insulating layer designed for mountain activities where low weight and packability matter. It works well during chilly climbing sessions and alpine outings, or as an extra layer under a shell jacket.

The jacket is insulated with 800-fill-power goose down treated with HyperDRY™, which improves moisture resistance and helps the down retain its loft. The lightweight nylon shell also features a DWR water-repellent treatment.

Functional details include an insulated hood with single-pull adjustment, elastic hood opening and cuffs, and a YKK Vislon Slim front zipper. Two zippered hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket provide storage. The jacket packs into its chest pocket and can be attached to a backpack or climbing gear using the integrated carabiner loop.
