The Patagonia Capilene® Midweight Bottoms are a versatile cold-weather baselayer, suitable for skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking and everyday wear in low temperatures. Their double-knit fabric offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio while efficiently wicking sweat and allowing the body to breathe.

The distinctive dot-joint construction connects the two layers of fabric at specific intervals, improving airflow while maintaining durability. A smooth outer face makes layering easier, while the soft, stretchy fabric feels comfortable next to the skin throughout the day.

The low-bulk elastic waistband dries quickly and layers comfortably under other clothing. A gusseted crotch provides unrestricted mobility, while minimal, low-bulk seams help reduce chafing during extended wear. A functional fly adds convenience.

The fitted design follows the body's contours without feeling restrictive or compressive. This close-to-skin fit supports effective moisture wicking and makes the bottoms easy to wear as part of a layering system.
