The GridLock Triple Lock is a specialised carabiner designed primarily for belaying in sport and traditional climbing. Its construction helps maintain the correct carabiner orientation and reduces the risk of cross-loading when the belay loop shifts out of position.
The integrated internal wiregate separates the belay loop from the main carabiner area, helping keep it correctly positioned. The specially shaped spine features a projecting horn that holds the belay device in the appropriate position, improving rope handling and control during belaying.
The triple-action locking mechanism allows one-handed operation through a sequence of three movements. This provides additional protection against accidental opening and makes the carabiner practical for frequent use.
The combination of ergonomic shape, functional construction and automatic locking makes it suitable for climbers seeking a specialised belay carabiner with enhanced security. Correct positioning and verification of the locking mechanism remain essential before every use.
