The Black Diamond Dawn Patrol Pants are purpose-built for ski touring and all-day backcountry use. They are made from durable double-weave softshell fabric with four-way stretch, allowing unrestricted movement on both uphill climbs and descents. The DWR finish helps water bead off the fabric, while the breathable construction helps release excess heat during intense activity.

The pants feature removable, adjustable suspenders and a hook-and-loop adjustable waist with belt loops. Two zippered thigh vents provide additional ventilation on demanding ascents. Two zippered thigh pockets offer convenient storage, with the right pocket featuring a low-profile electronics sleeve and tether cord.

Articulated knees and a seat gusset improve mobility and comfort. Integrated snow gaiters help keep snow out of boots, while reinforced instep patches protect against sharp ski edges and crampon points. Side zippers provide convenient boot access.
