- The R1® Ultralight is designed as a lighter and more breathable member of the R1® family, intended for high-output activities where efficient temperature regulation is essential.
The fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester with a smooth, abrasion-resistant outer face. Its breathable construction provides next-to-skin comfort while retaining enough warmth for active use in cooler conditions.
A deep center-front half zipper allows excess heat to escape quickly during strenuous activity. The generous opening also makes the pullover easier to put on and take off, including when wearing a helmet or pack.
The unique seamless-shoulder construction keeps seams away from the shoulders for improved comfort when carrying a backpack. An underarm gusset increases freedom of movement and helps prevent the garment from riding up when reaching overhead.
A practical vertical zippered chest pocket provides secure storage for a phone, snacks, map or other small essentials without adding unnecessary bulk.
Low-profile cuffs provide full wrist coverage and can easily be pushed up over the forearms. The cleanly finished, slightly longer hem is designed to stay tucked under a climbing or hiking harness.
The pullover has a Fitted silhouette that follows the body and works well either on its own or as part of a layering system.
