The authentic taste of Italian risotto

Risotto demands patience and attention, and LYOFOOD follows the traditional preparation method. Every meal is fully cooked before being freeze-dried, creating the creamy texture and perfectly cooked rice that make risotto one of Italy's most beloved dishes. Combined with aromatic porcini mushrooms, Pecorino Romano PDO cheese and fresh parsley, it delivers the rich flavour of a freshly prepared homemade meal after simply adding hot water.

Original appearance and texture

The freeze-drying process preserves the natural shape, colour and texture of every ingredient. The rice remains perfectly separate, while the porcini mushrooms retain their distinctive texture, creating a meal that looks as appetising as it tastes.

High nutritional value

Freeze-drying preserves the natural nutritional qualities of the ingredients while providing a balanced, energy-rich meal. It is an excellent choice for hiking, trekking, camping, mountaineering and other outdoor adventures where lightweight yet nourishing food is essential.

Ultra-light and compact

During freeze-drying almost all moisture is removed, significantly reducing the product's weight without compromising flavour or nutritional value. The result is a lightweight, compact meal that is easy to carry and takes up minimal space in your backpack.

Long shelf life

The product has a shelf life of up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The hermetically sealed pouch, together with the oxygen absorber inside, helps maintain freshness and protects the meal during long-term storage.

High quality and safety

Every LYOFOOD meal is produced under strict quality control standards. Carefully selected ingredients, professional cooking, freeze-drying and packaging processes ensure consistent quality, food safety and exceptional taste in every pouch.

Lightweight and functional pouch

The durable LYOFOOD pouch is designed for easy preparation directly inside the package. Simply remove the oxygen absorber, add the recommended amount of hot water, stir thoroughly, close the zipper and wait approximately 9 minutes before enjoying a delicious gourmet meal anywhere.
