The Danner MTN45 Low GTX delivers serious hiking performance in a low-profile, versatile design. Built for warm-to-cool weather, it is suitable for day hikes, longer trail adventures and varied terrain where waterproof protection, cushioning and reliable traction are important.

The upper is made from durable nubuck leather, providing a soft, velvety feel while offering excellent durability and a comfortable break-in period. A polyurethane-coated leather protective rand around the heel and forefoot helps protect the shoe from scuffs and abrasion.

GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology provides waterproof and breathable protection. The membrane is bonded directly to the upper, helping preserve the natural flexibility, fit and feel of the shoe while preventing water from entering.

The nitrogen-infused Danner EnduroFoam Plus midsole provides responsive cushioning, shock absorption and energy return. Its wider and thicker construction delivers a cushioned feel while maintaining a good balance between weight, durability and trail performance.

The Vibram N45 outsole with Megagrip is specially formulated to provide reliable traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Its wider Traction Lug platform enhances stability when moving across uneven ground.

A lightweight TPU rock plate adds underfoot protection and stability on rocky and rough terrain. The removable OrthoLite footbed combines layers of different densities for cushioning and support, while its open-cell polyurethane construction promotes airflow and heat dissipation.

The DT-6 last is inspired by trail-running footwear and features an 8 mm heel-to-toe offset with slightly more width in the forefoot. This provides a stable platform while maintaining a versatile shape suitable for everyday outdoor use.

The MTN45 Low GTX is also Recraftable, helping extend the usable life of the shoe through eligible repair and resole services.
