Lightweight Paulownia Core
Paulownia is an ultra-lightweight wood core with excellent strength, offering great flex and vibration absorption without bulk. Perfect for touring skis, Paulownia excels both uphill and downhill. Carbon and Rubber Inlay – A 600mm long and 15mm wide carbon fiber inlay that protects the wood core from heavy impacts, providing additional stability and vibration absorption under the boots.
Faction Material Recycling – Faction mixes trimmings from the base, sides, and topsheet and returns them to the core production material, reducing carbon emissions while maintaining the same level of quality and durability. Raw materials are sourced from European companies close to their manufacturing plants, reducing the environmental footprint. Eco-Friendly Bio-Based Resin – These skis are made with eco-friendly bio-based resin, containing 35% plant-derived materials.
XL Full Strength Sidewall – A construction with protective strips along the core, shielding the wood, edges, and topsheet from impacts and damage.
Elliptical Sidecut – Offers a longer radius underfoot for quicker, easier pivots and a shorter radius in the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation.
Anti-chip Micro Cap – Protects the tips and tails of the skis from wear and tear. Moustache Flex – Provides stability in front and behind the bindings for solid edge hold, with smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to absorb bumps and snow debris.
