CARBON GRILAMID LFT® SHELL AND CUFF: The Carbon Grilamid LFT® (Long Fiber Technology) infuses long strand carbon fibers into Grilamid® plastic, significantly increasing strength and stiffness. The result is reduced weight with increased power and torsional rigidity, providing and amazing blend of power and precision in a lightweight backcountry package.

PROPULSION TECH: Is a special harmonic steel arch set on the cuff. It reduces the shell and cuff expansion during the transmission of the impulse to the ski, improving skiing precision.

SPEED CAM LOCK SYSTEM: The well-known and appreciated Speed Lock system is now improved, offering a quick transition from walk to ski phase with just one gesture. 

A-LIGHT RS LEVER: The new lever in aluminum remains close to the cuff during the walk mode, and requires less power to open or close the system. The plastic eyelet in the middle allows the Dyneema cord easily slide. The forward lean is set at 9° and can be adjusted at 7°, 11° or 13°.

3D LAMBDA FRAME: The special “bridge design” provides maximum lateral stability from heel to toe and helps to avoid shell deformations. Developed to increase stiffness and torsion resistance the 3D Lambda frame allows to reduce the thickness of the shell for a minimum weight.

X-CAGE EVO: The X-shape design enhances the stiffness and lateral stability, while reducing the torsion on the longitudinal axis. 

CAM LOCK ADJUSTER: Easy to use and adjust the closure: just pull the cable to tighten the closure and simply unlock the cam and slide the cable to loosen the closure.

INTEGRATED CUFF GUIDES: Improves the cuff wrapping on the tibial area by spreading the pressure along four lines. The skiing is progressive and offers great agility during the walking phase. It makes the system easy to handle.

BOA® CLOSURE SYSTEM: The BOA CLOSURE system provides a closure and a custom fit for maximum comfort without pressure points. The hidden guides allow an easy regulation of the closure on every type of feet volume. 
On the Alien RS the BOA works directly on the inner boot, increasing the feeling and sensibility on your feet. The cable with its special construction and coating allow the lace to withstand the abrasion and the fatigue of thousands of hours of use.

QUICK STEP IN: Allows the positioning and attachment of the boot easily and securely. 70% easier entry through self-guiding notches compared to traditional inserts. Patented, tested and guaranteed, exclusive license.

SAFETY STRAP ANCHOR: When you don’t have the ski brake on your binding, the Safety Strap Anchor allows you to easily leash your skis to your boots at all times, to avoid the skis to run away. Easy to use with any ski leashes available.

RANGE OF MOTION: Total degrees forward and back of the cuff compared to pivot point of the boot.
