The Mammut Taiss ML Jacket Men is a technical midlayer developed for year-round use in the mountains. According to the manufacturer, it is designed for all-season mountain adventures and is intended for high-altitude activities and changing conditions where temperature regulation, freedom of movement, and dependable comfort are essential. The fabric helps wick moisture efficiently to reduce the risk of rapid cooling after reaching the summit or when activity levels drop.
The jacket is made with Polartec® Power Stretch™ fleece with 4-way stretch, providing excellent elasticity, quick-drying performance, and lasting shape retention over time. Its very good warmth-to-weight ratio makes it a strong choice for demanding mountain use, where the right balance of insulation, breathability, and low weight is especially important.
It comes in an Athletic Fit, offering a close and precise fit without restricting movement. For greater functionality, the model features two zippered pockets that are compatible with both backpacks and climbing harnesses, along with a functional underarm gusset for optimum freedom of movement. Additional comfort comes from the comfortable thumb loops and flat seam construction, which help reduce chafing under backpack straps. The embroidered Mammut logo completes the clean technical design of the jacket.
