This achievement is made possible by the new SmartEVO² compound, formulated with the know-how and latest materials used in Motorsport, ensuring further improvement in grip and handling on both dry and wet surfaces. Additionally, they have lightened the patented SpeedCORE™ structure, featuring a thin, hermetic layer of rubber compound enriched with aramid particles. The combination of these factors has made it possible to create a high-performance tire that is even faster for competitors, but also for those who wish to benefit from the same tech as the pros.
The highest-performing tubeless-ready road casing in Pirelli's range, with a unique design that adds an aramid band within the tyre’s rubber layer. This new structure adds strength and support to the tyre casing but retains a supple feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip, compared to a tyre with a full bead-to-bead aramid construction. The tyre also features a 120tpi nylon casing for added puncture protection and maximum security.
