SHELL
WEB FRAME CARBON DESIGN: The sunburst design on the heel area allows the use of variable shell wall thickness to minimize weight while still offering high performance support and power.
BI-INJECTION SHELL: Bi-injection expertise allows the use of high-performance materials like GrilamidR and Carbon Grilamid LFTR in the same piece. This process helps to create a shell that offers the incredible performance combination of stiffness and high torsional rigidity from heel to toe.
SKI/WALK MECHANISM
SPEED LOCK XT: The system is enhanced by the Friction Free technology, meaning there is no connecting rod between the shell and cuff, this allows a “friction free” interface during the walking and touring.
CLOSURE SYSTEM
BOOSTER™ POWER STRAP: Light and elastic, it ensures support and progressive transmission of impulses in the tibial area. It contains THOR BUCKLE the RECCOR reflector.
THOR RACK XT: Made in aluminum with 5 teeth. The last element of the rack efficiently locks the buckle during the walk.
THOR BUCKLE: The Thor buckle is constructed in magnesium alloy that is both strong and lightweight.
WAVE CLOSURE SYSTEM: The Wave closure system, made exclusively for SCARPAR, delivers two buckle closure strength security without the weight penalty.
ZEPPA
The new Zeppa XT located underfoot between the shell and the liner provides a more “alpine oriented” fit and feel to the boot. The specific shape and thickness modify the ramp angle of 2° forward compare to the Maestrale RS. This increases the precision of the boot and provides more immediate transmission of impulses to the skis.
CUFF
The Maestrale XT cuff has been slimmed down to enhance responsiveness and increase precision while skiing. The close contact of the cuff to the shin will immediately transmit impulses to the skis.
BI-INJECTION OVERLAP CUFF: Specifically developed to increase downhill performance while maintaining agility for touring, walking and fitting.
SOLE
CAYMAN PRO SCARPA-Vibram® sole made with TOP85 compound that offers great durability and grip. Fits the DIN ISO 9523 norm and all the TLT binding.
