- The RECCO® helmet rescue reflector makes you searchable to rescue professionals using RECCO® Detectors in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors.
- The RECCO® helmet rescue reflector comes with a glue on the bottom side and is attached to the helmet like a sticker.
- The glue is designed for all temperatures in winter and summer and long lasting. It is important to follow the application instructions to ensure a strong bonding:
- Apply the reflector to a smooth and fully cleaned surface on the helmet at room temperature
- Firmly press the reflector into place ensuring full contact over the entire surface area.
- Be sure to allow at least 24 hours for the reflector to properly adhere to the surface.
- RECCO® technology does not prevent avalanches or guarantee the survival or localisation of a victim or lost person. Knowledge and common sense are the best ways to avoid accidents. Always respect safety rules and regulations.
